Join us at the downtown Duluth Town Green for a 8:00 AM start on May 11, 2019 for the 5th Annual Fast Track 5K Run/Walk presented by the Southeastern Railway Museum in co-sponsorship with the City of Duluth. Proceeds of the race will benefit restoration and conservation projects of the Southeastern Railway Museum.
The Southeastern Railway Museum occupies a 35-acre site in Duluth. In operation since 1970, SRM features about 90 items of rolling stock including historic Pullman cars and classic steam locomotives all this you get to enjoy FREE after the race as your race number will get you and 4 family members or friends free admission into SRM (train rides will be extra).
EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE
Early packet pick up for runners/walkers will be at the Big Peach Running Co., 320 Town Center, Suwanee, GA 30024, Thursday, May 9 from noon to 8 PM and on the day of the race in downtown Duluth at Taylor Park (near the fountain) beginning at 6:30 AM.
There will be plenty of food, fun and beverages at the finish of the race.
Runners/walkers of all skill levels, children in strollers and pets on leashes welcome.
The Fast Track 5k is a USATF certified race and a Peachtree Road Race pre-qualifier.
Directions to SRM will be provided to everyone (just over a mile away from the finish line)...there is plenty of parking at SRM so you and your family and friends can have a great afternoon touring the Museum and the grounds.
